Fast Growing Vegetables

In my opinion fast growing vegetables are grown from seed to harvest within 6 weeks.

We are sometimes impatient waiting for our favorite veggie to grow so harvesting veggies from your garden within a few weeks of planting them is a great way to keep yourself inspired. These are wonderful vegetables to grow if you have kids around as they see the results quickly. Great for us older folk who are kids at heart as well!!

Soil preparation and soil fertilization are very important when you want to have a fast and productive harvest.

Quick growing veggies:

  • Cress
  • Lettuce
  • Mustard greens
  • Oriental greens
  • Radish
  • Scallions
  • Spinach
  • Turnip

For more information on specific vegetables please go to my vegetable list. Here you will find easy and useful information on planting, growing and harvesting them.
