Fast Growing Vegetables

Fast growing vegetables are grown from seed to harvest within 6 weeks.

We are sometimes impatient waiting for our favourite veggie to grow so when we find one that can be harvested within a few weeks of planting this is a great way to keep yourself inspired.

Fast growing veggies are wonderful vegetables to grow if you have kids around as they see the results quickly.  Great for us older folks who are kids at heart as well!! 

Soil preparation and soil fertilization are very important when you want to have a fast and productive harvest.  Healthy, well fertilized soil is a must for these to grow quickly and to form full leaves or roots.

  • Mustard greens

  • Radish
  • Scallions
  • Spinach
  • Turnip
